House Expects Business as Usual After Cantor Goes

TIME reports that later today, House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will likely be voted to replace Eric Cantor as House Majority leader.* Although McCarthy favors a path to legal status for undocumented immigrants, though not full citizenship, many representatives foresee that his election will not alter the Republican Party trajectory on immigration reform.
