Miami-Dade County Stops Honoring ICE Detainers

On December 3, 2013, Miami-Dade County, Florida passed a resolution stating that effective January
1, 2014, it will not prolong the detention of inmates or notify ICE of their impending release unless ICE executes a written agreement to reimburse the County for all related expenses. Related memoranda and letters are also included. Courtesy of Edward Ramos.
